Why I started writing here
Growing up, Mexico was where we went in the summer. We’d drive from the Chicago suburbs down to Valparaíso, Zacatecas, and back. Spanish at home, English everywhere else.
In 2020 I moved here. I’ve lived in Zacatecas, Tijuana, and San Cristóbal de las Casas, and now I’m in a small town in Jalisco. Six years in, a lot of my day is still spent switching between the two: languages, legal systems, ways of getting things done.
I’m studying law in Mexico, I’ve spent years helping small businesses get online, and I’m curious about psychology and how the mind works. This is where I’ll write about all of that. Some posts will be practical. Some will just be me working through something I’m learning.
If something here helps you, or you think I got something wrong, email me. I’d like to hear it.
